# Collabs

Channels that do collabs: fastest growing, partners and new collab videos.

Channels that do collabs, meaning videos YouTube lists under more than one channel. Data comes from Algrow's collab sweep, which checks channels' Videos tabs around the clock. Growth figures refresh every 6 hours; partners and videos show up as soon as the sweep finds them.

### `fastest_growing_collab_channels`

Ranks every channel that appears on a collab video by subscriber or view growth over the last 7 or 30 days. Each channel comes with its growth, how many different channels it has collabed with, how many collab videos it has and when its latest one went out. Growth figures refresh every 6 hours. With `sort='pct'` the ranking is growth as a percentage of where the channel started, and only channels with at least 1,000 subscribers count unless you set `min_subscribers`.

### Use Case Recipes

#### Find small channels growing through collabs, then see who they collab with

1. Call `fastest_growing_collab_channels` with `sort='pct'` and `max_subscribers` set, for example 50,000.

2. Pick a channel from the list and pass its `channel_id` to `get_channel_collabs`.

3. Read its `partners` to see which channels it works with and how often, and its `videos` to see what the collabs were about.

### `get_channel_collabs`

A channel's collab partners and collab videos, newest first. `has_new_collab` is true when it has a collab video published in the last `since_days` days. A publish date in the future is an upcoming premiere. Also returns the latest collab date, the channel's 7 and 30 day growth, every partner with how many videos they made together and when they last did, and each video's host channel and full list of collaborators. `checked=false` means Algrow has not scanned this channel for collabs yet.

### `recent_collabs`

A feed of collab videos published in the last N days, newest first or most viewed first, across every channel the sweep has checked. Each video comes with its host channel and every collaborator. Pass `channel_ids` to watch a set of channels for new collabs.
